Urgent Needs

You can Help!

Our team is in constant need of food, water, sleeping bags, large reusable bags and small hygiene products. Please contact us for our updated list.

Tabitha's Blessings is a local Orange County, Ca charity that gives assistance primarily in the Santa Ana Civic Center area. You can help by donating time, food, and praying for this ministry.

Hunger isn't seasonal, which is why our twice-monthly  food service is highly anticipated. Can you devote 2 hours on the first and third Tuesdays of the month to prepare and serve the homeless? Please contact Mary for location.

Santa Ana, CA -- The staff of Kindred Hospital Santa Ana prides itself on providing a family environment for our patients. And just like family, we take great care in reaching out to others. This year, the staff has stepped up to provide hope beyond the bedside at Kindred. We have participated in the American Lung Association’s Fight for Air Walk, making us one of the top teams to fundraise for the walk in Southern California. Our Social Worker, Mee Hee Yang, fundraised and volunteered through the Orange County Social Workers Association which provides clothes and toys to a local non-profit called Packed Loved. Additionally, in the weeks after the typhoon that hit the Philippines our staff nurses led a fundraising effort that benefited the local chapter of the Red Cross’s Philippine Relief Fund. Lastly our employees were grateful that the turkeys were back! However, there were some employees that in the spirit of paying it forward decided to donate some of their turkeys along with the unclaimed turkeys. One of our Respiratory Therapists, Mary Migues, works passionately with Tabitha’s Blessings, a local non-profit that works with families in need of food. Tabitha’s Blessings was the recipient of half of the employee’s donated turkeys. The rest of the donated turkeys went to the Long Beach Rescue Mission, a homeless shelter. We are grateful to work with such a great caring staff!! -- Victor Carrasco, CEO
